Late 80's steel DeRosa SLX frame found on EBAY. Mint shape and barely ridden. Pretty nice score. Came with the original bars, stem, headset and bb. Changed out the BB and put a 2006 Campagnolo Centaur groupo on this frame. The gunmetal Campy parts seemed to go well with the paint job. Lucked out with the old Campy Montreal '76 rims laced to Centaur hubs from the groupo. More updated pics to come showing part swap on headset, pedals and bar tape.

brake bridge

Lovely ride! I am respraying a nearly identical frame/color and doing the build with the same white accents. My only change would be a period white Regal saddle in lieu of the blue. But that's just personal taste.

Post a photo of the brake bridge. I know they made this anthracite color in 1988, and if the brake bridge is tubular then that's probably it. If it's a solid casting, sort of triangular in shape, then it's an '89 or later.

tubular brake bridge

Hey ColumbusSLX. Thanks for the info. Checked and the brake bridge is tubular. Checked out your De Rosa restoration job and the bike looks sick!

Hey thanks!
