Geared 42x16

This is my first forray into framebuilding. It's a very small bike for my very small ladyfriend, Francesca. Columbus SL tubing; Long Shen lugs; Kalavinka BB shell, fork tips and track ends; lots of filing, sanding, etc; and it sort of looks like a bike. Given that I hadn't held a torch of any kind since Jr. High Industrial Arts class, I'm pretty excited with how it came out. I made it for Francesca as a Christmas gift. It's a work in progress so I'll update this page as the bike moves closer to completion.

Can't wait to see the bike built up!

Where did you go to learn how to weld / what shop did you use? Hand built bikes are such a treat.
