Trying to find more information as to original components, sales brocures, anyone who has one presently or rode one in the past. Picked up this bike at a local thrift shop for . I have been trying to date this bike through the web but all I can find is older Falcons pics. My guess as with others is the mid 80's. The Falcon company from what I hear is close to closing and their web site has no contact information.Worth restoring???

Classy bike

This is a classy bike that by all means would be worthy of restoring. Instead of a "restoration" I would challenge you to build it to it's former glory, but to your own specs. A very class ride.

Falcon - 12 Speed

I would guess this is from late 80's early 90's. I was a large Falcon dealer until I closed my store in 1986. All the Falcon's I sold had the old ornate headbadge. You bike also has hidden cable routing on the top tube. The mid 80's bikes used the three cable guides brazed to the top tube. I still have my old Falcon race bike from 84 and looks considerably different than your bike. As one of the other people mentioned, if your ever looking to sell it I would be interested.

What a nice bike! What is the frame size? Would you consider selling?

I had a Falcon that was my graduation from high school present in 1973 that was stolen in 1977. I still miss it.
