Super sweet ride. Without a doubt the most comfy hardtail I've ever ridden. Fast in the singletrack, good climber, and lightweight (20.5 lbs as she sits). I've owned this for almost 2 years and ridden it more than any other since.

Questions...

Hi,
Nice bike - I like all your Diamondbacks, I too am a BIG Diamondback fan :)
Anyway, Do you (or anyone reading this) know what size front derailleur clamp these Diamondback Ti frames take? I think either 28.6 or 31.8 (not 34.9).
Also, seatpost size? I think most are 27.0, but are some 27.2?
Thanks

Thanks for posting this photo. I love seeing the Axis in such pristine condition. I have the same frame, same great condition, but the rest of my components are pretty beaten up. Do you have an idea of what your frame is worth? I'm considering selling mine to finance a slightly larger frame - or not. I love the way the Ti rides and it is hard to consider giving it up.

Thanks! I had always wanted one of these back when they were new but could never justify it. Now that I have one, I love it. If I ever sold this one, I'd buy another just like it.
As far as the value, I've been offered 350-500 for the frame. A 1994 model with a satin finish just sold last week on Ebay for 450.
