cinelli criterium

are you criteriums the new ones with the cable grooves on both sides? if so, how does it feel riding them bare?

Yeah they are the criteriums. It's not so bad actually but I would prefer them to not have the grooves.

fill the grooves in with old

fill the grooves in with old cable housing or soft adhesive weather stripping (any hardware store will have this). tape them down with electrical tape and cover with your bar tape.

Components

Great choice of components! Cinelli Bar/Stem combo, Veloflex gum wall tires = Righteous! How do you like them tires? I'm thinking of getting some but hear they wear fast.

Thanks! I've only done one ride on them but so far I really like the Veloflex. They ride really great. They were a nightmare to get on those rims though. Not sure how long they last. I don't skid so I think they should last a while.
