i totally love the geo of this frame. Best bike i ever had and worth every cent.

Big ups go to Rene of tracksupermarked, tokyofixedgear from london, bens cycles
and of course to stijn of stijn cycles who sold me this beautiful frame.

Can't wait to ride it complete.

Nice ride fella - good to see another peloton!
Will add you to the cluster!

big ups pelotonia love!! peace & love & hard mashing!

it looks great , the white

it looks great , the white rims really make it ,i dont often like those rims but on this they look pretty cool, nice job

not sure about it...

this is a war with myself.
on the one side i would like to have a more classy rimm.
there are some araya clinchers with a low profile but it's impossible to find them nowadays.
an alternative would be a mavic open pro...
but i miss this "special" thing on them...
and i hate this mashined sidewall.

the h+son is just about the other extreme.
At the beginning i didn't like them. It felt a bit flexy and heavy!
But now i get used to them and love them.
They are very solid.
i ride my bike hard on the street with everything involved and never had problemes.

anyway. :)
i feel what youre sayin and hopefully i find some arayas in the future.

thx dude.

>>><<< that color! How's that 46/19 gear ratio feel?

you don't have that much hills in LA, isn't so?
i think it's the perfect ratio for almost every town...
you have 19 skid patches (if you skid on both side you have 38), you can climb little hills without trouble, can go fast on alleycats, can do some tricks very easily,...

...but most of the time i ride 46/21. (42 skidpatches!)
When you ride a tour for about 50 miles in the evening it's a great work-out.
You can compare it riding on a road bike a 100 miles tour.
When i want to go fast i also have 17 cog. (34 skidpatches!)
We don't have a velodrome in my town, so i don't need higher ratios.

I think the best way to check your ratio is in checking the skid patches.
I ride my tire on the back now 4 months and it's still in a good shape and ridable.
The Durano Plus is a great doubt,
but when you have 2 skidpatches you can destroy it in a week.

Thanks for the great insight! I think 19T might be the way to go for me.

...stay safe out there. :)
