Ritchey pedals/Campagnolo 5.9mm Chorus chain.

13-28 gears/Origin 8 Brakes/XTR,TRP brake pads/Vittoria Cross XG tires 700x32

The paint chips easily, there's toe overlap with the front wheel and the original seatpost binder didn't have enough grip. This bike is way quicker handling than my Surly Crosscheck with Ritchey tires (700x32). Normally I'm not into aluminum frames but after I installed a steel fork on my IRO Jamie Roy I felt a little different about aluminum in general. Now I mostly don't like aluminum forks.

do you know the year or model of this bike/what the serial number on the downtube is?
i have a very similar frame and was wondering if i could find anything out about it.

I picked it up from Cycles Bikyle who got it from Gita Bike There are 2 digits on the bottom bracket and one of them is an 'X'. I think it's from the early 2000's.
