it's old home week on velospace!

to be honest i always kind of like lickedwicked. he was annoying, to be sure, but there was no malice there as far as i could tell. he was just talking his shit, on the internet where you can't actually break anything.

I copy pasted "I hear if you stare into your reflective deep v's and say lickedwicked three times, he'll come out of your spoke carrds and steal your rear brake" into my profile to remind me of him.

I have pedalroom as well, but can stand the forums. I try to keep my bikes updated there and I'll pop into the forums every once in a while to see if there is something worthy of my time.

I am savageveggie. I set up a below velospace sub a while ago, but that kinda died in the water as there wasn't really a need for it. http://www.reddit.com/r/Velospace/

Wow been quite some time since I have logged in! This place, no bueno. Still like seeing the new bikes posted, and look at the beauties that have been here.

    Hey, kids!

I've been busy! It's good to see the foundation's been rotting to nothing while I was away!

To be honest, the reasons I stopped coming back were twofold: my bike pics all rotted away, and then a bunch of the people I liked stopped being here. There's a longstanding technical flaw with social implications, all exacerbated by a material interest that... doesn't take an interest.

Suicide_doors! I made you a thing out of LEGO like I said! I don't have your address anymore, though. I'd love to send you one. I came across the rubber tongue just the other day.

JACN -- Exciting! Hows about an email to [email protected]
I forgot about that tongue. Good joke.
O-hay, how's that whole lock thing going?

    @Jona -- He's 7 now. Tough age.

I have been checking every day hoping for something, because I really don't have anything to say other than I think the fizik aliante is more comfortable than the Brooks Cambium. Suprising, I KNOW.

    Until next time...

Its not dead, it's just in a coma. This world is a vampire, she eats her kids.

    More comfortable than a Cambium?!?! How's it compare the a B-17? :)

Where is Angie-Greg btw and is there anything going forward? There is still plenty to complain here but I'd love to see a process...

Ahhh!! Really, really want to try a Cambium as well.

@Moik --> Nothing is going to change. Might as well ride out the eventual demise. ;)

As it relates to the cambium, I am honestly not sure how I feel considering all the hype around it. It might just be that I am much more comfortable on flat saddles (I still believe my antares 00 is still the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden), because the aliante is definitely not perfect. The cambium just feels really large underneath me, and after about 6 or 7 miles I find myself moving around a lot in the saddle to alleviate discomfort. I have never ridden any brooks saddles before (including the B17), so I am not sure I am in a position to compare. However, I think at the end of the day the shape is just too bulky for me. I am used to minimalist saddles. If you are used to brooks saddles I am sure this will be a perfect fit. As I mentioned last summer, out of the box this saddle felt amazing. My only gripes is that is squeaks a lot. Not sure this is normal but inclined to say it is a naturally occuring thing since the original cambium I had which was replaced by the retailer (one of the bolts attaching the body of the saddle to the frame or whatever came lose). I am a terrible review of comfort related things.

On a separate note, I should upgrade my review score for the Henty backpack. Now that I have become accostumed to it, I dont see myself using anything else.

Nice job, Albert. it was both a reference to Smashing Pumpkins and Atmosphere. Boy when I was growing up that song had me playing air guitar on a graphite arrow shaft. You can imagine my moms concern when her 10 year old was doing such ridiculous things.

I'm curious as to how the C15 would treat you.

I read on The Radivist that John had switched from the c17 to the c15 and found it much more comfortable. The wideness of the C17 does seem to be playing a role in my light discomfort. I am not going to worry too much about it though. I use the saddle on my 8 mile eac way commute, so it does not really bother me too much since I am only on it for 30 mins at a time. Another factor could be my bike shorts. I noticed its worse with my slightly thicker padded and slightly larger chamois. Big saddle and loose chamois is probably not a good combination...
