hey guys i just figured i would make a build thread for my fuji. it's a 52cm 2009 model. currently have a WHITE 46t sugino messenger crank and look clipless pedals. pictures will be going up tomorrow as i am at work (i work swing shift so i have this kind of time). i don't know why i went with a white crank. i was impatient and black was out of stock. so idk i'll probably balance it out with a white fizik saddle. pictures tomorrow. and please feel free to suggest parts because any advice would help. this isnt my 1st build but i could always use some help. bye for now.

Socks. Really. Always. Bike shoes aren't made for comfort, and they'll rub nasty sores into your feet if you don't have a protective layer. Once you've got sores, it hurts like hell to get your shoes snug enough for safety.

I am being reminded right now of the truth of this observation.

And my sores are from riding with socks. It could have been worse.

cicadashell jr. the elder would always ride without socks, despite my parental admonitions. he never complained of sores, but now that he's in his 20s he may begin to see the point.

i wear a 44 shoe in the warm months, but also have a pair of 45s to go with the thicker socks i wear in the winter. i can't imagine not wearing socks.
