    Threaded headsets:

Velo Orange has a nice looking sealed bearing 1" threaded headset for $40 -- ISO

Velo Orange has a caged ball headset in either ISO or JIS for a little less.

The old Stronglight A9 with roller bearings wasn't sealed, but was a good headset. Bens's still advertises it in black.

Ritchie threaded headsets are available at Nashbar for about $15.

Cane Creek threaded headsets are still available for $80 - $100 or so.

Added: don't forget to height your stacks.
I think the VO sealed bearing and the Cane Creek are the best looking. The A9 is probably the most serviceable -- buy some extra bearings while you're at it.

Fair enough, but I figured sd's response was sufficient to cover the attempted threadjack.
