Take only what you need to survive!
This bike was built by Barry Whitcomb on 13th March 1969 (when I assume the man knew more about what he was doing than he evidently does now) for Sid Mottram of Leicester (UK) whose name and badge the bike caries. Built for an Italian man in Leeds, it was brought buy Andy Polakowski of Mold (Cymru). I brought it off him in 2006, and have since had the frame restored by way of a respray, chrome-nickel plating of rear stays and forks & crown. It was built for the Leicester grass track intended for use as a training bike for the UCI World Cycling Championships in Brno (Czek Rep)//so I believe... Reynolds 531 ST double butted frame with simple yet elegant LV lugwork. Rear bridge not drilled, a proper track frame that rides equaly comfortable on the road. It's and old photo that I hope to replace / update with one that shows the bike in it's current glory, Crackito
