1998 Cannondale Super v 700, XL frame

Flipped stem recently for back comfort

Mostly original, just replaced parts as needed. Smaller pictures are from '98 when bike was new. Last picture is a silhouette of my '93 Delta V 1000, which the Super V replaced.

nice color, i thought it was custom painted cos friend had a red one

they really ride nice, good geo, frame can take smoother and longer fork in my opinion

It's original paint

Cannondale called it Bar-b-que Black and Split Pea. I agree it's a nice ride, I've had a lot of good times with it. But I haven't tried any other newer FS bikes so I don't have a point of reference.

I wouldn't bother with other

I wouldn't bother with other FS bikes unless you need more travel for DH stuff. Cannondale are almost maintains free aside from the components. All other FS bikes have too many linkages and make too much noise. I have a few FS bikes and I love the super V more than most other make or modal .

I'm with you there

This bike has enough suspension for me and my style of riding is moving away from fast DH stuff as I get older.
