I also have a blue Schwinn Traveler III. It was my first road bike when I moved to Philadelphia for school. I've graduated to a fixie since then, but I'm currently considering turning it into a fixie or a single speed.

It's a really heavy frame though, but I'll look forward to perhaps having a choice of two difference gears, or type of gears.

What was your experience servicing this bike? Was it difficult to find parts to match? I have the original wheelsets, which I want to keep on.
