89' Cannondale R600 3.0

cannondale bars/ nitto

stock fork and shimano 600

shimano 600/open pro

shimano 600/open pro

Vetta and shimano 600

flat pedals, not sure about the chain

dura ace 8sp, 12-25, exage levers/600 brakes. Still need to find some 600 levers, but people want waaaay too much money for them

For some reason this bike just doesn't feel as great as I think it should. At some point I may replace the fork with a white or chrome lugged steel fork. I may try to change the downtube shifters for some old shimano 600 STI's someday. I know the downtube shifters are supposed to be classy, but I'm not sure about it. Maybe some bar end shifters might be ideal.

I love those Cannondale

I love those Cannondale track frames, but I hate "magic gears" and an Eno hub would be worth more than the frame. After I tracked down all the shimano 600 parts I've come to the realization that I hate downtube shifters. I've been keeping an eye out for some 8spd STI's, once I do the bike will get a ton more use.

I have a white Rolls on my bright blue '87 Cannondale, and I will say, it sure does look pretty. However, I wish I still had the original white Cinelli Volare like you have.

I've seen your bike on here

I've seen your bike on here before, yours and one other blue and white one that both look really nice. I think from what I can tell by the 99 catalog, some of the models had white turbo's, and I think mine came with a black vetta, my girlfriend has a pink '86 that has a white vetta on it, whatever I can find that fits. I do like that cinelli, but i don't think it belongs on that bike. I have a plastic cinelli unicantor i might try for a while, I like the plastic seats for bikes i'm planning on getting wet
