orig. Ashtabula one-piece steel, of course, 50/39, marked Sprint - made in France; cups 'n' balls

I grew up with this one and we both have the scars to prove it. The only multi-speed bike I've ever owned(!) until '08. Never did fix that droopy kickstand.

Most worthwhile upgrades:

  • SunTour alloy stem shifters (perfect-fit replacement for the cr*ppy originals)
  • alloy front rim
  • KoolStop pads

Since getting back into biking in '07, it's been my trainer and grocery-getter, proving to myself that I really do enjoy riding.

i have one of these

i have one of these exact bike, same color as well, my mom bought it brand new in 1974, still looks great, except that i converted mine over to a single speed..

looks neat though!!!
