dura ace

Got ths as a frame set many years ago.built it up with mostly dura ace. It's been a great bike, magnificent climber/sprinter.This frame has a 1.25" head tube.I have never seen another 2.8 with a 1.25 head tube.Because of the head tube size I had to have the stem custom made.I had the stem made by Kimo at innerlight in Davis Ca.He did a great job(it has lasted 10+ years).I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a custom frame or repair www.innerlightcycles.com

thank you.

Bike looks really good,

Bike looks really good, especially with the red stem, I'm working on rebuilding my 3.0 with a lot of older parts. I also have an old M800 with the 1-1/4 headset. If you ever get tired of I spent about on some headtube adapters that let me put a 1-1/8 fork and headset in it, it was definitely worth it for how much of a hassle it is to find a good stem.

thanks,I am very happy with

thanks,I am very happy with that stem. Kimo did a great job and it has held up to my abuse(jumping, bunnyhops and off road rides). I checked out your 3.o it looks nice white. did you paint yet? If you ever want to go back to the stock fork on your m800 check out the old controltech stems. they made about billion of them there has to be a few still floating around.
