who cares? enough to do what I want it to do ; )
I sprung this idea on Chuck when I found his website a couple of years ago and found out he was crazy enough to build it for me! I wanted something similar to the bikes I lusted after when I was first riding seriously in the early 80's, Austro-Daimlers, Raleighs, French bikes, all popular for being 'dual sports' in that you could take day trips or short tours and still have much of the handling and speed you were used to from your road race bike. The tubing is Dedacciai "Zero-Tre" steel and it rides exactly like a laid back road bike with much more responsiveness than a classic tourer. I also sent the Nitto racks to the builder to make sure they were built into the bikes design. I suggest you check out Chuck's website, he's still a bargain in handmade steel frames: www.sadilah.com/
