Great find

The TdF is a top-quality racing bike, with 531 frame and fork.

You can find a lot of info, and a forum to ask questions, at
www.gitaneusa.com
There are brochures that will help you figure out which parts are original, and which are not.
btw, if my French is any good at all, "fourreux" is fork or fork blades. Maybe you have the remnant of a tubing sticker on your fork?

fork

fork absolutely says that.
thanks so much
