The 45mm rake fork actually feels great with big tires and such with this frame, eliminates toe overlap, and makes the steering a bit more predictable, takes a bit more to get it to turn, but it rails through the corner once you get it there. The disk brake works amazingly well, double pivots might be able to brake just as well, but not the long reach ones that are required by the steamroller fork.

I sold this bike in Nov. 2008 to get a geared cross bike, the frame is now in Chicago.
