I picked this frame up awhile ago and built it into what you see here... Never seen one like it... Currently set up for hills or bike polo but mostly for quick rips or grocery runs. Cheap wheelset for riding the Milwaukee potholes. Fun, interesting and surprisingly quick and comfortable ride. Especially for a bike that no one around here seems to know anything about... It's a great trick bike. If anyone out there can help me on this frame let me know... I didn't even know Specialized made an Allez Track...

Converted road bike. Still

Converted road bike. Still looks nice though. Hope you enjoy it.

that's what i thought

that's what i thought initially but the seat stays have the specialized S on them... Thanks though

seat stay panto

you don't remove the seat stays when you convert to track, you just change the drop outs.

...

yeah they sorta look like surly drop-outs but?? I couldn't imagine anyone going to such lengths to do that though.

Yep

I also thought that but the Seat Stays have the Specialized S Emblazed on the top where they connect to the seat tube. Thanks.

I don't have any info, but

I don't have any info, but to me it looks like someone converted the frame from a road bike. it looks like it has those braze ons for a pump on the head tube/seat tube which i see a lot on 80's bikes. it also has front and rear brake holes and 2 sets of water bottle braze ons. but the only thing it's missing is cable guides. weird track frame.

Thanks man... It's a great

Thanks man... It's a great ride though... so whomever did it... well I would like to shake their hand... only payed 100 for the frame and crank w/the sugino chainring. Thanks for the help.
