I picked up this bike locally for a sweetheart deal. The frame was made in Italy by the Bilatto Brothers and imported to America, where it was painted for the fledgling pre-Trek Greg Lemond Bicycles company by Ten Speed Drive Imports. I gather that it must have originally been sold with a full Suntour Suprebe group, due to the big logo slapped on the downtube, but now all that remains are the cranks and headset. The tubing is Columbus Aelle, which was the lowest-end Columbus tubing at the time, but the frame is still light and incredibly stiff. In fact, it's at least as stiff as my Fuji Track Pro, but without all the harsh ride characteristics of that bike, which is why I sold that bike to a friend.
