I bought this a couple years ago from a guy on eBay who failed to mention that it was a 49W (women's) and also failed to mention that it had a dent in the seat tube. I tried to switch some things around but the damn thing never rode right. Sold it for about 0 more than I paid for it (and was honest about everything).

I put this up because I normally detest the look of LeMond bikes but I think this one is fairly pretty. Too bad my wife didn't fit it.

BTW, the 540s were about the scariest thing I have ever ridden. Don't ride them unless you weigh less than 100lbs.

Ha! thats funny. i picked up

Ha! thats funny. i picked up a wheel set just like this for cheep about a week ago. Then saw them on this bike, and wondered what you thought of them. ...*scroll down* ... oh... oh ok. Didn't really give me the faith in my new found wheel set. damn.

They have been known to be

They have been known to be less than great wheels, but I rode them about six miles daily for three months with no issues. They do flex, but I weighed about 190 at the time. The guy I purchased them from was over 200 and never had an issue. I think you're fine as long as you keep an eye on them.

yeah, I'm not too worried

yeah, I'm not too worried about them. I only weigh 140 or there abouts, so it should be fine. Plus I didn't sink much into them, so if they start to go down hill it wont be the end of the world. They sure look sweet tho, and work a lot better than the destroyed set of bottom of the line wiennmans that were on the bike before.
