The first and foremost mod for this conversion was to cut and file horizontal slots in the huge dropout plates to allow chain tension adjustment. The frame was designed for a suspension front fork so with the substantially shorter rigid fork the rake/trail as well as the wheelbase length have been dramatically reduced. Because of this she's a very quick and tight handling little demon. I ride her almost everyday throughout L'ville when commuting or running errands and along the "Loop DeVille" for my ~20 mile sprint training rides.
