bought this 14 speed off craigslist and knew immediately i would be converting it. this is the first time i've ever worked on a bike, and it's really gotten me into biking. can't wait to finish this project, hopefully it'll be a show-stopper. i crappily photoshopped a picture to illustrate my future plans because i'm an uber-geek.
update: project nearly completed. just waiting for my alien (andel) track crank and tange bottom bracket, and some elk-hide sew-on bar wrap for the final touches. i'm very pleased with my final outcome, and it was a great way to learn about bicycle components... i got to build it all up from scratch! my next project will hopefully be a mercier kilo tt... we'll see how that goes.
