1978 Bavaria, Built in Eastern Block, Commie Bike!

Not sure about many of the parts on this bike. The only thing I recognize is the Weinnman brakes. My ladyfriend bought this for me two years ago and it has become my protected little 5 speed beast. Everything is original except the saddle and stem (which I busted by being too rough on it). Information the collector told her was that this was a bike built specifically for a race in eastern block Germany and it was ridden once when he picked it up. I've never seen another like it and love it to death. I take it out on pretty days and sometimes jump it off curbs when I get too excited (I know, it's a terrible thing to do to a 30 year old commie clunker but it's so fun). Some cool notes: Dealer tags still on it (all in German) and some parts of the steel still have millimeter markings (never sanded down I guess after they cut it).
