First Fixie, First Build.
Bought at a garage sale as a complete bike. Stripped it, ground off unnecessary hardware, ground and epoxied the welds.
Paint is a rattle can job. Lots and lot and lots of tedious masking. It's actually pretty lousy if you look close, but it certainly works.
The frame fits me alright - adding the 650 front helped because I'm pretty short and I prefer a pretty aggressive TT/Tri type position, but lowering it has made pedal strikes a real problem even with 165 cranks. I want to get (or build) a new frame and paint it properly with the same pattern, but that'll be in the future.
Wood handlebars were built by Ezra of Fast Boy Fenders. www.FastBoyFenders.com.
They're sort of a "beta" test set. I'm loving them. Comfy hand positions, plenty stiff, and look amazing. I want to replace the black wrap with Brooks leather to match my saddle - maybe after the new year.
Rear rack has a cobbled together wood platform to try to match the bars. I use this for primary transport, so a rear rack, a front brake and chainring guard were mandatory.

Oh, and props to Joselyn's Bicycles in Monterey, CA for helping with all my crazy parts orders and the wheel build!
