stripped, bead-blasted and powder coated.
did you hairspray your ourys or do somthing else?? do they slip on you at all!?
Your bike is one of two that convinced me to pick up the 735tr. But i'm wondering how'd you strip the paint and did you add the jb weld on to smooth it out?
what is the framesize?
thanx. looks cool!!!
like the can of "nutty ice" holding the big up in the pic!
ube - icecream - fixie!
can you spin that fork? it looks like it hits
is there clearance for bar spins? Negative.
HEY WHATS GOIN ON? NICE BIKE MAN FOR REAL. IM INTERESTED IN KNOWING NOT JUST URSELF BUT WHY PEOPLE GO WITH STRAIGHT BARS INSTEAD OF LIKE BULLHORNS, ARE THEY MORE COMFORTABLE.?
For some people it is. i had drops on my bike, but i switched to risers. more comfy in my opinion. just preference, be it aesthetic, or feel.
looks nice, can you actually turn that rear wheel though?!
turns just fine. There's no contact. The seat tube has a recess in it that allows the close tucking of the rear wheel for improved (my assumption) aerodynamics.
Most of the leaders ive seen have sketchy welds. Did you have bondo work done or were your welds pretty smooth to begin with?
they were fine. i did smooth them out a touch with jb weld before powdercoating though.
looks like a rational man's concept. sweet build, my man. looks like loads of fun.
After you stripped the frame did you have it sand blasted?
but close. i media blasted it with plastic media. much more gentle than a sandblast.
this is my favorite leader yet. i might get one now because of this bike. what kind of fork is that?
got it from ben's cycle on ebay. http://tinyurl.com/26vy3u
