I originally bought this frame to build as a second geared bike for me, but it was too small so I built it as a bike for my son. I don't know a lot about the frame, it appears to be something of a rarity. It is a little big for my son, thus the uber short stem and forward-sitting saddle.
This bike no longer exists in this form; I tore it down for parts when I found a Trek 1000 frame/fork set that was more my son's size and easier for him to ride. This Nishiki frame/fork set and the wheels were later sold after the Trek 1000 was completely assembled.
