This is a wonderful bike I picked up on Yahoo Auctions in Japan. Venus stopped production in 1982 but through the 1970s was one of the most sought after keirin frames, basically the generation before 3rensho, etc. This frame was made in July 1982 and sat in storage until it went to auction. It has an underpaint chrome job I discovered with the first few nicks to the paint. Beautiful ride, and I thought it better to build it up and ride than hang it on the wall.....
