"The ghettoDROME
When- October 25 @ 5:00pm
Where- 3rd level of LDS Institute parking garage (1780 E South Campus Drive)
What- Short races in multiple categories (mountain, road, fixed, etc.) around designated course in a parking lot
Why- In other countries (and states) where cycling is more popular indoor cycling race tracks called 'velodromes' host (you'll never guess) short races. Think sprinting, but on bicycles. Even though we think cycling IS popular in Utah (and especially on campus), we don't any velodromes. But since we were able to have a bicycle shop without a building, why not have a velodrome _style_ race without a velodrome? This race is for everyone, so come hang out with us and have a good time.
