Masi Team V3 1995 Distributed by Torelli , original frame maker is most likely Mondonico but I've gotten conflicting information from those in the know.
My research has me believing Mondonico but could be Masi America.
All Campy Chorus 8 Speed. It's A dream to ride but a tad to large (58cm) so will most
likely sell it and find one my size at 56CM

Bellisimo!

I hope my Italian is OK, anyway it's beautiful.

Antonio Mondonico used pins in his frame building. After he got the tubes and lugs aligned, he would drill and insert a little steel pin to keep it aligned for brazing. It's an old method of framebuilding, and he was about the only guy that still did it. I have a mondonico fork, and there is a peg visible or feelable inside the bottom of the steering tube, it held the steering tube in alignment with the fork crown. It is about 3 mm in diameter, and 3 0r 4 mm long. If you can take off the front wheel and look up the bottom of the steering tube, you should see the pin if Mondonico built it. If you take apart your bottom bracket some day you could probably see some others.

Thanks for dropping by and viewing my new (new to me) Masi.
I've had a few Treks myself in fact I just sold an '87 Elance
400 to help pay for the Masi.

Kinda cool building up a frame with components you prefer rather than the ones spec by manufacturer.
Ital-Trek, the best of both worlds.
My Woodrup may be an English frame but I used french derailleurs(mavic) and suntour sprint brakes and Sugino crank.

I've been collecting early NOS Shimano 600 components, headset, cranks, brake calipers and levers in order to build my japanese dream bike.
Waiting to find a nice 80's Panasonic 3000 54-55cm frame.

Catch ya later and btw your italian,"bellisimo", is better than
mine.
