Stripes

Are those stripes upside down from what they usually are? (i.e., isn't is supposed to be green, yellow, black, red, blue from bottom to top?) just curious.

Stripes ????

I don't know, the decals are original 1980's. I have only ever seen one other of these and the decals were the same.

Nice steel...

I think I'm going to try those Detonator 28s on my Cilo, which incidentally seems to have the same gruppo (and maybe tubing) as yours. Does the 600 RD handle the 8 speed cassette no problem?

600 and 8 speed

Sorry for the late delay, planning a trans-Australia ride for next month (August).

The 600 rear only just handles it, would be better with seven. I like friction shift so you can trim to perfection but it does take some practice with this combo. I think a 9 speed chain would help a little.

Maxxis 700 x 28 just fit in, I can only get them in the rear triangle deflated. Ride is sweet!

Cheers, John.
