Fat tube aluminum. Cannondale C600 series 3.0
Upright Nitto Promenade alloy passenger carriers. Oury grips. Surprisingly strong noname stem.
Alloy fork and normal headset you pussy
Wide Mavic rim, bigger 28c tires, Kryptonite skewer (essential)
Yes
Shimano 105, not bad
Leftovers, stupid saddle. (I sometimes used an old school black Sakae Super Hard TCO - Tall Cool One - ha.)
Big ass Haro bmx pedals with steel pins and reflectors - best design for the street
I put on a wide range hyperglide 28-11, great improvement.

I have wanted to build a Roadster for quite a while. This twitchy criterium frame may not have been the best choice, but the hyper-active handling matches my environment well. One big advatange of this frame type over 26" wheeled bikes is the ability to lock the frame and rear wheel to a parking meter with a mini u-lock.
Those handlebars really make a lot of power, and there are other advantages. There is a slight aerodynamic disadvantage at high speed, but I get my hands down on the center of the bar and I'm out of the wind.
This is a hot bike for the street. Thanks, Brian Miller.
