I have the same model - any issues in fixie conversion?

I have the exact same model, the Traveler III, and I've decided to convert it to a fixed gear, too. Work begins next week...
Have the horizontal dropouts caused you any problems?

Staff at the LBC tried to talk me out of the conversion.
From what I see you've done with it, this bike has a lot of potential. Very exciting.
Any issues I should be aware of?
