It is an old 1984 Cyclepro 10 speed road bike frame that came outfitted with shimano, avocet, suntour, dia-compe and sugino gear. I've slowly added parts, and taken stuff off to make the monster you see here.

The bike has been my daily mode of transportation around San Francisco and Davis since the day i got it, and is a beater commuter bike at heart. It gets a lot of miles and scratches, and is usually seen with fenders, but weather has been nice enough lately to ride without them.

I removed all the frames braze-ons and brackets that were uneccesary without brakes or derailers. I also did the new paintjob myself; it used to have a factory silver/black two tone.

red & black are my favorite classic combination... and im a sucker for lugs

favorite

favorite conversion i've seen, i like the red and black

thanks

appreciate it man. it was a long build up. at the very end I had a sexier seat/post, and some other little stuff, but thats essentially what the thing looked like. shitty random 10 speed frame with a rattle can paint job... go figure
