This bike was probably built sometime around 1989, when Richard first began building aluminum frames. The touring style geometry definitely gives this bike a unique handling dynamic. I would love to see some more classic mountain bikes on VeloSpace.

how does the rear triangle

how does the rear triangle attach? it seams to be steel and bolted on.

Yeah...

It's bolted onto the seat tube and through the bottom bracket (and it is steel).
