Wasn't easy to get such a frame in my size (and that color, naturally).
This build took *a lot* of time and TLC.
This one resembles the look of the italian "Gis Gelati" and "Del Tongo" [and even the belgian "Boule d'Or"] team bikes. These teams were very strong contenders in italian racing of the late 1970's and early 1980's, with Giuseppe Saronni winning the Giro d'Italia in 1979 and 1983.
The color you can see on the bike is also referred to as "Saronni red", probably because he won the 1982 World Championship title in Goodwood/England on a Colnago of this color, which made the bike (and the man) pretty famous; the original one has been part of Ernesto Colnago's private bike collection since then, a real museum piece.
