figuring out the plumbing on this was a bit of a challenge. after practically being laughed at after asking for opinions at various local bike shops I went ahead and did it anyway. I had to have these shifters work on these bars...or bust! I wasn't about to settle for anything less...then out came the drill! I drilled out the bars just behind the lever and near the bottom of the bend closest to the steam. running the housing just wasn't working at all, the bend was just to drastic so I did what anybody would do....I stared down my bike for two weeks untill the light bulb went on in my head. yes!! v-brake noodles!! perfect! all I did was shorten the ferrel end of the noodle a little and somehow by the grace something I finally got this thing on the road. it's alot to explain in words but I'll be re-wrapping the bars in leather soon and I'll bee sure to take pictures of the whole process. I know, I know...there is plenty TT bars already set-up for internal routing but (I thought) nothing as sexy as these. -constant upgrades to come...stay tuned.
