yup, steep and weightless. actually though I might use some spacers to move them up, and the seat will probably come down, so they won't be quite as steep as they are now. not sure until I see how it feels.

At least pop the chain in an old tube. No point in scratching up your new frame.

I wrapped the frame in

I wrapped the frame in electrical tape up there. I'm not certain the chain is going to stay on there forever, but I'm keeping it for now. Mostly it's because the seatpost is quick-release and I'm worried about someone walking off with it to be a smart ass.

good thinking, i have a alloy post and a normal collar because i got sick of worrying about my carbon fiber one walking off with a QR.

btw i love the oriole theme you've got going... looks great!
