Dutch bike: the brothers Bustraan (from Amsterdam) built the bikes for more than 60 World Championships and Olympic titles.
This one is pretty comfortable: slack angles, relaxed riding position. Much like the racing bikes of the 1950's (or even earlier), the types Bartali and Bobet rode.
From today's POV more of a light tourer, very nice for longer distances.
Very precise shifting, great brakes.
Update 06/09/2007: "PIMPED"! - with all-red tires, to complement the other red accents.
Update 23/09/2007: Yes, this thing did crest Col d'Aspin, one of the most famous bike summits of the french Pyrennees, some days ago [see last pic]!
And going downhill was better than any roller coaster: exceptional braking, great frame stability, "ridiculous speed" without any problems. Great bike.
Update 01/10/2007: BETTA WOTCH YA STEP, BRO! This might happen to you if you got into the way of my RIH and me (pic IV) ;-D .
Update Spring 2008: Saddle changed to Brooks B-17, mudguard removed. Gives the bike more touring appeal.
