Scored the frameset while working at my local bike shop for a great price. Serial # in the 60,000 range and referring to vintage-trek.com established the actual year/model of the bike. Over the coming winter, I am going to be applying the correct decals and head tube badge to keep the bike looking correct for its age. Am considering getting a new powdercoat for it, done in white. Will be converting to a retro-direct drivetrain during those long winter months.
