ntage 1986 Domenic’s Team Issue/Tommasini Super Prestige Road Bike Steal @ $ 750.00

Domenic’s Team Issue: Domenico Malvestuto was an ex-euro racer with connections, several times a year he would travel to Italy and work out deals with major manufactures of bicycle frames & components. The Team Issues is a product of his passion. Manufactured and painted by Tommasini Bicycles shipped without decals, Domenic’s decals applied upon arrival in the US.

Tommasini frames are something very unique in the world. Unique, because as the best artisan tradition wants, every frame is created by singularly, by hand, with the maximum attention to little details. The materials used in the whole production line are of the best quality. Perfection is researched in every little particular, from the prime preparation of the tubes to the final complete control of the frame after painting. The brass brazed frames have micro-fusion lugs cast toresemble the company stylised logo in different forms, and confer to the frame an unrivalled personalization. The high quality steel forks produced byTommasini strategically follow an harmonic curve: blades have a continuous curve that starts from the tips and raise up to ¾ of the blades themselves. The fork absorbs the negative road shocks resulting fluent, elastic, safe and charming.

I bought this Bike from Domenic at one his first shop across from ASU in '86. I've raced it in Phoenix, Cali, Tennessee, and Colorado. It doesn't see much use anymore and, but of the 3 bikes I have I never ride it anymore . This Noble Stead deserves someone who will appreciate it as I have
