Pelizzoli Corsa GP

I'm letting go of my custom built Pelizzoli Corsa GP built by legendary Italian framebuilder Giovanni Pelizzoli. With a new baby, I've been downsizing the fleet. I ordered this frame from Giovanni's workshop two years ago and built it up about a year and a half ago. It has logged less than 1000 miles since new. Classic stage race geometry with 54cm c-c top tube and seat tube, 13.5cm headtube, and 73 degree angles. Very stable and comfortable, perfect for longer rides. Tubing is new old stock Columbus SL with chromed lugs. I had Giovanni build a double plated chromed fork crown reminiscent of those used by the original Italian Masi. I chose the paint myself, and Giovanni liked the look so much he now offers it on his Curdumo line of bikes.

Build is as follows, with everything purchased new or NOS

Campagnolo record headset
110mm Nitto stem and Nitto B105 road bars
Campy Centaur 10 speed ultrashift (multiple shifting, not the new powershift junk) ergos
Centaur FD and RD
Athena 170mm compact crankset (I chose Athena because it had forged, as opposed to stamped rings on Centaur cranks)
Centaur hubs laced to Velocity O/C rims with Gommitalia tires (note pics feature record wheelset). Can handle max 25mm tires. I also have a set of Record hubs laced to alloy open pros as shown in the below photos that I can include for extra $.
Aero Chorus seatpost
San Marco Rolls saddle

Paint looks good asides from normal ride wear, such as a bit of rubbing on the chain stays. Bike has never been crashed, mishandled, ridden in poor weather or otherwise abused.

Price is 00 plus shipping for the complete bike. I plan to have the bike professionally packed and shipped by my LBS.

Willing to sell frame/fork for 0 shipped CONUS.

Local pickup in the DC/Balto area wouldn't hurt.

In addition to Pelizzoli's website, http://www.pelizzoliworld.com/ below are a couple of interesting articles about him and his frame shop.
