Built up from ebay frame purchase late last summer. I've been intrigued about these Yoshi Konno built bicycles since I read about them a few years ago. This frame is a tad larger than I normally ride, but after my 1st ride yesterday, I'm glad I didn't pass up on the opportunity to add this to the stable. Wheels were my 1st attempt a wheel-building. It was a fun project to get my feet wet. DT butted spokes & brass nipples. I have yet to weigh the bike. (note: an older set of wheels are in the pictures)

Great bike...

Saddle up and push that stem down a bit. You have a nice bike.
Don't see many 3Renshos around. Good score.

So Lucky

So lucky to get your hands on this.

Yes,

Those are Chorus brakes. Just found out that mine are too.

What's with the saddle height? It ruins the overall appearance of the bike.

Fit

I'm a fiend for proportions, but don't let aesthetics cancel fit. Look at the bar height. If you need to be that level with the seat, then this is your size. For better aesthetics just drop the stem down. Less granny.

Rider too short for the frame, :-( You're right, looks odd, but I'll ride it for at least a season, or until I can find a 53cm frame in similar condition.

Good decision. I think a smaller frame is worth it, the vintage Campagnolo parts and other parts are excellent!
