This is my little brother's first road bike. We bought it from a creeper down the road from my mom's place for $ 140 and put around another $ 250 into it. Repainted it, added some upgraded parts and some tough tires, and made him ride it 'till he could say he knew how to ride a bike. I did all the painting myself and including the lugs (which I think turned out pretty good). Honestly I just wanted a bike that I could put Spinachi's on. It's a nice bike though.

Altogether a really nice combination, and what a pitty that I did not have an older brother like you. -- This thing indeed deserves BETTER pictures, and of course the first one should be feature the whole bike. I was totally unaware of Sekine, but the frame itself appears to be from the 70's. It seems as if they were made in Japan, and for reasons unknown to me, in Canada. P.S.: You don't seem to have ribbon patches underneath your brake lever hoods. On white you can have btw removable decals created with a color laser printer ... to much white here.

Thanks, I actually didn't know about sekine before I bought this one. I kept thinking that the dude selling it to us meant to say sekai. I took it to the local bike shop after I bought it to get checked out, and even the guys there were a little confused by it.
As for stickers, I was trying to keep my little brother informed about what I was doing with the build, and when I told him about the stickers I had chosen for it, he wasn't interested. Thusly, no stickers.
