Great riding frames, enjoy

Great riding frames, enjoy the hell out of it!

Already have been! Switched

Already have been! Switched this out for my Trek 2200 frame Im loving being back on a steel frame. Looking at your bikes I see you sold your torelli pista... how long ago? I ask cause my roommate bought that frame and fork about a month or two ago here in brooklyn, possibly from you?

Wow, that was a few years

Wow, that was a few years back now. Mine was a 58, if I'm not mistaken, but a few months back I saw a 56 floating around. I did sell it locally, however, so it may very well be the one. I sure do miss it.

ah, I feel like his is a 60

ah, I feel like his is a 60 maybe but thats not far off so it could very well be a 58 I guess. Our other roommate picked up an '11 pista a week before I got this one so Id def say their good reviews helped nudge me when I saw this one on craigslist.

A house full of Torellis?

A house full of Torellis? That's pretty cool. You all made a great choice. Your one room mate lucked out pretty good with the 80's Oria pista, which likely would have been a Mondonico import, if you care about such things. Mainly though, they are great frames all around. I would be very happy to have one in 54 with gears. Did yours come frame-only?

Yeah I think his research

Yeah I think his research lead him to that possibility but I know he was having trouble finding a lot of info online about that specific frame. His also has a different logo on the headtube than what Ive seen on a Torelli, his is a yellow "T" on top of a black cheetah silhouette. Was yours the same?
I picked mine up as the frame with the look fork, headset, bottom bracket and that double crankset (at 300 for all that I was pretty stoked on the deal)... the rest of the stuff I just transferred over from my Trek 2200 build

Not sure about the cheetah

Not sure about the cheetah but I do remember the big T with the yellow/red/green splash. Put his bike up, I'd like to see it.
