Picked up this one to restore and sell. It has a ride like a fine lugged steel frameset. This also has cast alloy lugs, internal splined alloy tubing which is assembled with adhesive, then heated to bond the joints. After 22 years, there were no signs of fatigue or flex at the joints. Great job Miyata!

Love The 1400A!

I have the exact same bike and I have to agree with you, the ride is very similar to steel framed bikes, and I don't feel the harshness that everyone says is inherent in an aluminum frame. It's a great riding bike, that's light, quick, and nimble...

missing my 1400A

Now that it is gone...... wish I had not let it go. Please don't get me wrong, I love ridding my Paganini Mistral. It's always good to have a second rider.
