bottom bracket

was your bottom bracket a normal square taper? I have a peuguot from the same era and it has a cottered set on it. there are no modern cranksets that fit that ( at least that I know of) so did you have to deal or what?

Peugeot bottom bracket

I recently had my LBS re-tap the threads to British. It worked great, only cost me 30 bucks to have it done, and now I can use whatever bottom bracket I like. I recommend this solution to anyone.

You would have to buy a new

You would have to buy a new BB to get it to work.

I have a pair of these i haven't done crap with because i thought the BB was a different size. Guess im going to find out soon!

Also, AVA stems have a habit of FAILING. Don't use em!

i miss mine!

Dude, nice clean bike! I sold mine after I built up my 3rensho with 'NJS' parts. I'm an idiot. I miss my peugeot. Your bike makes me miss it even more. Good on ya!
