Fork

Hi Doggus
Do you know of any other forks on the market with a very shallow to almost straight rake that will fit and look aesthetically right, being that the diameter of the Bianchi head tube is as far as I know, unique leaving a slight lip where the fork meets the head tube. I also wish to fit a front brake but keep the wheel base very short.

looks CLEAN!

is it true the axis only has 40mm of rake?

rai

Brake..

hi there! how did u manage to put a brake on the front fork when there's no brake mounting on it? Or you've changed the front fork?
thanks.

I have two fork/handlebar

I have two fork/handlebar setups.

For road use I bought a Forte Axis straight blade carbon fork (PerformanceBike re-branded Kinesis Energy fork) for on sale. It is a solid fork and has good reviews. Pre-drilled for a brake.

I was highly advised not to drill the Bianchi stock fork although you can see here it has been done. I choose the safer option since I do run the track with it.

Chain

Get that rear wheel all the way forward in the dropouts you savage! If you wanted long wheelbase you could've converted a 10 speed and saved 00.

Savage no more...

Removed two links...now I can't get a bigger chainring on there. Thanks!

P.S. Only a dumba55 would pay MSRP for a bike. I generally pay ~75%

Clearance

It seems to have quite a large wheel clearance.... is that normal for the '07, or are they small wheels?

Large frame is the culprit

All my bikes look like they have smaller than 700c wheels because I always have really large frames. This is the largest they make at 61cm.

ahhh, that was my second

ahhh, that was my second guess!

clearance

It looks like the chain might have a few too many links in it.
