bennett's bike

this bike belongs to one of my son's school chums; we fixed it up for him as a father-son bike project. we think it turned out rather nice. we replaced a few worn or broken parts but it is mostly original. schwinn didn't skimp on the chrome plating, so we didn't skimp on the steel wool and nevrdull; the results are shiny. the best part was seeing how happy bennett was when he saw his bike, recalled to life as it were, for the first time: radiant!
